Wedding photographer Limburg Castle Wittem
This lovely couple booked me over a year in advance to capture their wedding day. They first booked an engagement shoot to celebrate their engagement and see if there would be a connection between us. Then, the booking for the wedding photography quickly followed. The wedding took place on Saturday, June 11th. Fortunately, it was dry when I arrived at Jill's father's home to capture Jill and her bridesmaid getting ready.
The makeup and wedding hairstyle were just done, and there was plenty of time to calmly put on the wedding dress. After a while, groom Luke arrived in their cute wedding car, a Volkswagen Cabrio Beetle. Everyone was outside when bride Jill came down the stairs. Outside, their daughter Sophie's stroller was also there.
The whole party headed to the wedding venue Castle Wittem, where the civil ceremony took place in a beautifully decorated wedding hall, with bridal styling by Eigen Houtje from Simpelveld.
Guided by a singing officiant, a super fun wedding ceremony took place. The flower girls enthusiastically scattered rose petals upon entry, a perfect backdrop for fun, spontaneous wedding photos.
After the ceremony, there was a wedding lunch outdoors on the terrace, followed by some wedding photos of the newlyweds in the castle garden.
Then it was slowly time to drive to the church of Ubachsberg for the wedding mass. After the church ceremony, we drove through the hilly countryside and took some photos in the cornfields and on a country road, almost feeling like in Tuscany. A very nice place for some photos with the wedding car.
Upon arrival back at the castle, there was the wedding cake, the toast, and then a DJ and dancing.
After a brief rain shower, we took some group photos and photos of Jill and Luke together with Sophie.
Then it was time for the wedding dinner in a beautifully decorated hall.
