Do you want beautiful professional pictures of your family or children, spontaneous in nature? I take care of family photography in beautiful outdoor areas, using natural light.

What is the best time of year to make a photo shoot of your family?

Nature is basically all year round beautiful. Spring, summer, autumn as well as winter (even if it hasn't snowed) all have their charms. In summer you can of course take pictures without a coat, but in winter you can make pretty pictures with a nice colorful scarf and jacket .

The best time of day for a family photo shoot

In winter it is best in terms of light between 10:00 to 14:00 hours. In the summer between 09:00 to 11:00 and between 17:00 and 20:00. The warmest and most light will be at sunset. If you still want to make mid-day photos, choose a place in the shade of the trees.

When planning a photo shoot with small children and babies also note sleep times.

For fun snapshots you need to take time. I notice that people in a large group often think that we are ready within ten minutes and that really needs to be posed, but that is not the case. To be a "flow" should not be rushed there. Just have fun and take a walk through the forest all makes for beautiful images.

What clothes do you wear during a family photo shoot

You do not all have to wear blue jeans and a white t-shirt, but some tuning, for example, agree that everyone carries a maximum of three colors, is beautiful. Do not wear black and adjust the colors of the season. In autumn olive, yellow, blue jeans and brown shoes for example.

Consider choosing your shoes. High heels are not ideal for a photo shoot in the woods. Or take a pair of walking shoes and a pair of shoes for during the photo shoot.

Do you only take group photos or even pictures separately?

I always make photos in different configurations, so the whole family, every family apart, grandchildren with grandparents, etcetera. Of course, this all in agreement.

Who decides where we are going to take pictures

The photo location is based on your wishes, the weather, etcetera. Also, the composition of the group plays a role. Is everybody good walker? It could be that you need a ten minute walk through the forest for you at the place where we take pictures. Also strollers can be awkward in a forest. A park can be a better location.

Where else should I think about?

A good atmosphere and a good mood are naturally conducive to the photo shoot. Be clear to anyone of what we do and how long it takes. I sometimes notice that certain family members are not aware of the time.

What do we do if it rains during the photo shoot?

I keep a close watch at the radar. Possibly we move to a later time in the day or any other day. In case of rain the photoshoot can not continue.
