Spontaneous family portrait at the Three-Country Point in Vaals I had the pleasure of capturing these lovely family photos last Sunday in the forest near the Wilhelminatoren
It was freezing cold, and the sun was shining, giving the autumn forest beautiful colors and light. The ground was covered with leaves, which had a thin layer of ice on top.
Together with father, mother, the three children, grandchildren, and the dog, we walked through the icy forest, and as we walked, we spontaneously created a family photo series.
Here and there, we stopped to take some beautiful photos of grandma with the grandchildren, the grandchildren individually, and the children with their partners.
Luckily, everyone was wearing a warm jacket and had scarves and a blanket with them. This allowed us to place the little ones on a tree trunk and capture beautiful shots with the backlight of the low sun.
The photos were taken as a birthday gift for the mother. The whole family spent the weekend together at Landal Greenparks in Vaals.
I was delighted when they reached out to me for a photoshoot, as they had previously met me at a wedding in Brabant and were impressed with my work.
As you can see, summer is not the only time to capture beautiful photos. Every season has its own charm.
