Corporate photography Limburg: capturing the ambiance and food photography for restaurant La Ligne in Landgraaf
Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to photograph a tasting dinner at the newly opened restaurant La Ligne in Landgraaf. The assignment was to create an impression of the guests at the table and the restaurant's team, both in the service and the kitchen.
Photography of preparations in the kitchen
A highlight of the photoshoot was capturing the preparations in the kitchen. There were five different starters, main courses, and desserts prepared. Between the courses, I took food photos of each dish. These photos were taken on a piece of wood in a nicely lit corner of the kitchen. This food photography will be used in the new web design of restaurant La Ligne.
Details and ambiance shots
In addition to the main shots, I also captured subtle details such as close-ups of beer being poured, plates being garnished, and a latte macchiato being made. The restaurant was filled with family and friends who served as models and toasted for the camera.
Challenges of the photoshoot
It was challenging to maneuver through the busy setting and capture the service in action. With two cameras, I had to react quickly to capture the serving and interactions between staff and guests at the right moment.
The story behind restaurant La Ligne
Restaurant La Ligne is located in the premises of the former restaurant Sfeer. Two ambitious entrepreneurs have taken it over; one of them is in the kitchen while the other handles the service. Their passion and dedication are evident in both the dishes and the ambiance of the restaurant.
