Photographer Lanaken: Where can you have beautiful communion photos taken in Belgian Limburg?
This is the second communion photoshoot I had the pleasure of doing for this family. Last year, I photographed their eldest daughter. For the location, I chose the stunning Winselerhof in Kerkrade. Back then, they brought along a hammock, which we hung among the grapevines in the gardens of the Winselerhof. Did you know that you can also get married at Winselerhof? Additionally, you can have beautiful outdoor weddings in Limburg.
But back to the spontaneous communion shoot I did for this girl
The photos turned out so well that they asked me again this year. This year, it was her younger sister's communion (the communion party is over now, which is why I can share the photos on my blog). I received another email asking for a photoshoot. We talked over the phone, and I suggested going to Pietersheim in Lanaken this time. I had previously photographed a wedding and a family portrait here, so I'm quite familiar with the estate. There's a lot of variety that I could beautifully utilize as a photo background.
Communion photos among the beautiful pink blossom trees
What could be more enjoyable for an adorable little girl in her communion dress than taking photos in a white hammock amidst the blossom trees? With the help of mom and dad, we securely hung the hammock among the pink blossoms, and I captured beautiful and cute communion photos. First, the communicant went into the hammock alone, and then she wanted to join her sister for a moment. However, the raffia rope didn't hold up completely! Luckily, the hammock was hung quite low, and the ladies landed softly in the tall grass. After a brief moment of surprise, we continued with taking some photos of the ladies together on the steps of the wedding venue, which is also part of the estate.

From this communion shoot, a beautiful communion album will be made, sized 15x15 cm, with a matching linen cover and 16 pages. This way, they'll have not only digital files as a keepsake but also a lovely book for the future when they grow up.
